Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview: My client, an innovative MedTech startup, is seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a specialisation in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join their team. In this fully remote role, you will lead the development of advanced AI solutions specifically designed for the healthcare sector. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing patient care, optimising medical processes, and driving innovation in medical research. Key Responsibilities:

• Create, train, and deploy state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, BERT, T5) to tackle complex healthcare challenges such as clinical data analysis, patient communication, and medical research.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and NLP, applying this knowledge to develop cutting-edge healthcare solutions.
• Partner with healthcare professionals, data scientists, and engineers to integrate LLM solutions into healthcare platforms and applications.
• Ensure model performance and scalability by optimising algorithms for real-time healthcare applications and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in AI-driven healthcare solutions. What They’re Looking For:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on LLMs and NLP.
• 3+ years of experience with Langchain and Llama Index.
• Proficiency in Python and key ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). A deep understanding of transformer architectures and fine-tuning techniques is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to apply advanced ML techniques to solve complex healthcare problems and drive advancements in medical technology.
