We are super excited to be supporting our client, who is one of the biggest Travel companies in the UK, whom operate within Leisure and Business Travel. The overall purpose of your job is to manage and track the commercial income and targets ensuring that all areas of the business are aware of the progress and act accordingly plus take responsibility for analytical reporting relating to commercial income and supporting the Finance team to ensure invoicing is processed in a timely manner. Commercial Data Analyst duties-Implement a system to track commercial performance across a portfolio of suppliers.
You will be Interpreting data to provide analysis to the wider business including identifying trends. Ensure all data comes in from partners in a timely manner to be able to track correctly. Manage and interpret weekly performance of key business partners. Provide data and analysis to support the reconciliation of commercial agreements to ensure applicable income has been invoiced. Undertake frequent update meetings with the wider team to ensure budgeted income reflects the invoicing schedule. Be the commercial representative on any internal and external MI projectsSupport Finance with timely invoicing and debt collection for all overrides, incentives and sales support funding. Be someone who can enhance, improve, and make recommendations for doing things differently with better results. Commercial Data requirementsHave experience of building reports to track a wide range of income streams using data coming in a variety of formats and creating dashboards. Advanced Excel skills in an analytical role. Experience of Power BI desktop application usage is preferable but not essentialVerbally delivering analysis to colleaguesProviding business with insightful and clear analytical analysis. Filtering and ‘cleaning’ data. Able to request and collate data from a variety of sources.
