Data Engineer - AWS

emagine are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to assist in building and managing data infrastructure for our clients' projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS pipelines, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL to create robust and scalable data solutions.

Assignment starts asap and min 6 months. Location is Stockholm so preferably someone who can work 2 days/week from the office

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data infrastructure on the AWS platform.
• Design and implement data pipelines to efficiently manage data flows.
• Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters to support distributed systems.
• Build and maintain streaming architectures using Kafka.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to store and manage data.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize performance and reliability in data infrastructure.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Deep understanding of AWS services and how to use them to build data solutions.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for building and managing containerized applications.
• Experience working with Kafka to build streaming solutions.
• Strong skills in database management, specifically with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.
