At Jampp, we're on the mission of playing a leading role enabling the mobile app economy to grow. How? We build technology to support the most ambitious companies - from gaming to commerce pioneers - to propel the reach of their apps and accelerate their mobile businesses.
We solve the most complex and large-scale technological challenges in mobile advertising today. We process over 2,500,000 ad requests per second, which amounts to over 300TB of data per day, across three global data centers. We rely on real-time machine learning models (with billions of features) that give us predictions in less than 100ms.

Data, and how it is used, plays a central role at Jampp and is at the heart of how we make product, business, operational, and financial decisions.
The Data Science team tackles challenging problems across many technical disciplines, including time series forecasting, graph mining, algorithmic optimization on petabytes of data, and causal inference with missing data - to name a few.
We know our algorithms and predictions are top-notch but we need your help to take them to the next level.
As a Data Scientist you will help us identify the questions we should be asking, and answer them. You will be responsible for tackling challenging problems at scale across many technical disciplines.
We have created a small dedicated team to lead the efforts of growth and success of one of our core products. This cross-discipline team is following closely the success metrics of this product and performing ongoing efforts to improve results - by analysis, configuration and improvements to our technology.
As part of this unique team - a startup within a startup - you will oversee the various algorithms in action, get to know them hands-on and be responsible to figure out and implement improvements on the go. If you are highly innovative with a practical common-sense approach and enjoy seeing the impact of your solutions in action then this is a great role for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform ongoing analysis of success metrics to uncover places and ways where our algorithms can be modified to achieve better results.
- Refine models that support real-time events and internal stakeholder decisions across the business.
- Design, code and deploy modifications to our algorithms and supporting code (mostly in Python).
- Design and run experiments.
- Communicate and collaborate with the other data science teams.
- 3+ years of experience in data science type roles.
- Relevant experience in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or other quantitative field
- Demonstrate proficiency with our current Data Science Stack: Python (3.9) and Scientific/ML Python stack (numpy, scipy, pandas, mpl, seaborn)
- 💙 Passion - you have used a data-driven approach to solve a problem you care about
- Highly detailed-oriented and exceptional organizational and follow-through skills is a must
- Comfortable conducting daily professional communications in English (written and verbal).
- You have experience in implementing large scale systems in one or more of the following areas: Machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining or artificial intelligence
- You have working experience implementing complex statistical analyses
- You have pride in working on projects to successful completion, involving a wide variety of technologies, systems and modeling techniques.
- You like working in a self-sufficient, autonomous manner, striving through ambiguity
- You have a sense of urgency and ownership over the product
