We are looking for a Systems and Data Analyst to join the team of passionate people in Gdansk, Poland to build a new solution to support the flight operations.

The position will be located in Gdansk, in Poland Office. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, the work is done mainly remotely or in hybrid mode.

On Saturday, 12 March 2022, the President of the Republic of Poland signed a law to assist citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict in that country. As part of this law, Ukrainian refugees in Poland benefit from access to the Polish labour market. Boeing welcomes applications from Ukrainian refugees who are seeking employment in Poland.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Researches complex or multiple processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design.

  • Consults with customers to clarify and refine complex requirements.

  • Interprets and translates complex requirements into functional specifications.

  • Leads and performs activities to develop and execute tests to validate system functionality against specifications.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in managing and transforming large volumes of spatial and non-spatial data, especially: XML/GML, SHP, different kinds of text data (Excel spreadsheets, CSV, TXT etc.),

  • Experience in data pre-processing, manipulation, cleaning and modelling,

  • Experience with FME (development, deployment, ETL workflows architecture)

  • Experience with relational databases such as: PostgreSQL, Oracle,

  • Strong Python and SQL skills,

  • Knowledge of services such as: REST, SOAP,

  • Familiarity with version control systems and modern

  • Fluency in English Language

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Other ETL experience,

  • Knowledge of UML,

  • Experience with AIXM.

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in POLAND. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area and relocate at their own expenses.
