Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions that enable Data as a Service.

Build frameworks and services that enable self-service, reuse and agility.

Embrace and incubate emerging technology and open-source adoption.

Promote a culture of engineering excellence. Continually looking for opportunities to reuse and adopt inner-source solutioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

4+ years’ experience in Python

Strong experience building productionized data pipelines.

Proven experience building/consuming web services.

Experience building streaming pipelines, such as Kafka, Flink, Spark.

Ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

Comfortable communicating with teams via showcases/demos.

Experience building applications on Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

2+ years experience with Azure DevOps is a plus

2+ years experience with CI/CD (e.g. Xebia Labs or Azure Pipelines) is a plus

Cloud experience (e.g. GCP, Azure) is a plus

Agile Development Methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Kanban, Scrum) is a plus
