Senior Data Engineer

Hi there! We're currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team for an exciting project with a major player in the pharmaceutical industry.

📍 Your role:

• Review existing stored procedures to understand their functionality, input/output data, and dependencies.
• Converting SQL code to dbt model definitions.
• Developing dbt models for data transformation.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through dbt tests.
• Optimizing performance of dbt models.
• Iterating on models based on feedback and evolving requirements.

📍 Your skills:

• Mastery of DBT with over 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Deep understanding of warehousing concepts and proficient in ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Sound knowledge of data modeling principles, including Codd's normalization, Kimball, and Data Vault 2.0.
• Extensive experience working with database engines, particularly skilled in Snowflake with proficiency in Oracle.
• Proficient in git and GitLab basics.
• Passionate about continuous learning and growth, particularly in the realms of data engineering, data modeling, data management, and data quality.
