Ardent is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team.

This is a remote role.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to assist our team in dashboarding and reporting out of mission critical datasets to lead in incident response efforts. This individual should be comfortable recommending and implementing various data visualization types and should be able to provide recommendations as to what visualization type is best suited to the dataset and questions that need answered.

This is a great opportunity to work with a larger data science team and develop cutting-edge data science skills and geospatial technologies supporting a critical and life-saving mission. This project is in support of the OCRSO (Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer), developing data, dashboarding, and GIS solutions to assist the ORCSO in understanding and responding to emergency incidents. The scope of work involves stakeholder engagement, data governance, data science and engineering, and data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or AcrGIS

Preferred:
  • Experience dashboarding and visualizing datasets
  • Experience with GIS visualizations
  • Previous experience supporting DHS HQ
  • Existing DHS EOD
