As a data engineer, you have the chance to develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that make this data meaningful. What’s more, you’ll have the chance to help grow Booz Allen’s DataOps capabilities while working with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, data scientists, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you to work with our clients and meet their mission by supporting national security objectives.
This is an opportunity to implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Supporting national military and defense efforts, you’ll have the chance to [architect data systems, write custom code, and support multiple facets of database creation and development. From sharing your skills in analytical exploration and examination of data to supporting the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms, you’ll work with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges.

You Have:
6+ years experience with a data engineering and working with large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
Experience in applying analytic methodologies and principles to address cloud-based needs
Ability to work and understand current operating systems and programming languages
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Business
Nice If You Have:
2+ years experience in Python, R, Julia, TensorFlow, CUDA, JavaScript, Scala, Java, Unix/Linux, C, or C++
Experience with data pipelining, machine learning or deep learning, advanced analytics, Neo4j, MongoDB, ArangoDB, SQL and NOSQL databases
Knowledge of DoD analytics
Ability to be a proactive self-starter capable of finding and solving problems with little guidance
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
