Opportunity :
Resilience Lab is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help grow and mature our data platform.
The Data team at Resilience Lab has two overarching technical goals - to establish and manage the data model for our new application platform and to build and maintain our data warehouse.
As a Senior Data Engineer on the Data team, you will have the opportunity to help drive these efforts.
Your day may be spent:
Ingesting a new data source into our cloud data warehouse
Evolving our data marts to power organizational business intelligence
Building a new feature set into the data model of our new application platform
Collaborating with colleagues across Technology, Product and Business Intelligence to design technical solutions to meaningful problems with impact
Enhancing the data SDLC with new features and tools
Consulting with business stakeholders to understand their pain points and propose effective solutions
Monitoring job performance, finding and fixing the root cause of job failures

These skills will help you be successful in this role:
Expert at writing scalable SQL, especially in ELT data pipelines with 5+ years experience across 2 or more platforms
Strong understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling and other data warehousing concepts
Skilled at applying software engineering principles (e.g. testing, version control, code reviews, CI/CD)
3+ years of experience using Python to build data pipelines and in scripting
Comfortable modeling and normalizing transactional data with 2+ years experience
1+ years of experience using dbt in an enterprise setting
Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem and experience using it to build data pipelines (e.g. Lambdas, Step Functions, Glue)
These experiences will set you apart:
Proven track record of working with data teams in a fast-paced, startup environmentProven success driving projects through implementation to completion, including stakeholder education and onboarding
Demonstrated curiosity and drive to learn and smartly apply new technologies
2+ years of experience in healthtech and/or US healthcare in a data capacity
1+ years of experience administering a database system such as RDS Postgres
Compensation - Up to $145k - $175k
