My client is hiring a data engineer with proven experience on Databricks to build their data platform with the rest of team.

- Plan, implement and maintain the company's data platform.
- Design and automate data pipelines and data streams.
- Develop data models for data integration and analysis.
- Optimize ETL/ELT processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs.
- Ensure data quality through profiling and validation.
- Evaluate and optimize data tools.
- Fulfill assigned duties, including data quality initiatives.
- Degree in Computer Science, information technology or above.
- Minimum 3 years of data engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SQL is a MUST.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Synapse.
- Hands-on experience in programming languages like PySpark, Python, R, Java, Scala.
- Experience deploying data applications on Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Event Hub, or Power BI.
- Skills in performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
