Job Description


The Senior Data Analyst is an essential role to provide quantitative techniques identifying patterns and relationships of complex data supporting organization and business needs. The approach to execute data migration plans will include, but not limited to, analytics of new or existing data requirements, consult with Retail Brand Subject Matter Expert (SME), document data requirements, coordinate development schedules with developers, prepare test plans and train Users to transition to new data methodology.

Your Responsibilities

  • Function as a Retail Brand data solutions expert.
  • Collect data requirements used for Retail Brand information in legacy systems.
  • Provide data analysis leadership to consult internal stakeholders on optimal data solutions.
  • Work effectively within the Data Cleansing technique to focus on reducing complexity, support reusability, remove irrelevant processes, and eliminate redundancy.
  • Identify and manage new or existing field attributes to Developers and ensure it fits the data model defined for within Apparel Industry.
  • Identify and manage new or existing lookup tables and variable data logistical rules provided by business stakeholders to effectively utilize within order capture systems.
  • Work alongside the key stakeholders in multiple departments across the globe to ensure cohesive onboarding plans are met with a sense of urgency, expectations are set, and data requirements are effectively within scope.
  • Facilitate meetings, progress reports, and ensure milestones are delivered as planned per Customer onboarding needs.
  • Document Customer variable profile in easy to read terms to share across multiple supporting teams outside of IT.
  • Prepare test and training plans for each Customer onboarded to the ordering platform to ensure successful data needs are met.
  • Escalate to management possible risks that would impact onboarding deadlines for support and guidance.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent work experience in data analytics.
  • Knowledge of the Retail and Apparel industry is required.
  • Effective people and leadership skills to support working with cross functional team members in a global environment.
  • Negotiation skills to identify process improvements in order to support change management with an open dialogue.
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills with internal teams and contractors.
  • Investigative mindset to engage in problem solving to compliment data analysis skills.
  • Ability to train and guide others to support critical knowledge transfer.
  • Strong organization skills to work on multiple open projects across strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be self motivated to accomplish milestones.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours due to global environment needs.
