Data Engineer (Contract)

Data Engineer - Outside IR35 - Contract

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will be involved in building a new data & analytics platform in Microsoft Fabric from our client - You will be starting migration from existing stored procedures/data warehouses to the new platform.

£525 per day outside IR35

Start date: 30/09/2024

End date: 31/01/2025

Role and responsibilities

• Migrate existing data pipelines utilising ADF & stored procedures to a new medallion architecture
• Build data pipelines in MS fabric using a mixture of data flows & spark notebooks
• Create data dictionaries & business glossaries using Microsoft Purview
• Help migrate our client onto the new data platform

Experience and qualifications

Essential skills: Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, SQL

Desirable skills: Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Python, Purview
