Data Engineer
Fulltime
Remote in Canada
EST hours
We are seeking a Data Engineer to work with a global product company with a strength with a strength in data infrastructure, creating and enhancing data pipelines, and thrives in a product focused environment.
Responsibilities
Design our existing architecture, improving the reliability and performance of our data infrastructure
Build, maintain and scale our ETL pipelines
Design, build data infrastructure systems
A strength with two of the following: AWS DMS, HBase, EMR, Redshift, S3, Kafka or Airflow
About You
You have 5+ years of data engineering experience
Critical thinker and problem solver
Code in Python and PySpark
Strength with database fundamentals
Works with two of the following technologies: Spark, Airflow, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Sagemaker or Redshift
Interest in Kafka or other queuing technologies
