Pay rate: W2 hourly

Location: Atlanta, GA- Hybrid

We are looking for talented people to join our Digital Analytics team who are incredibly passionate about data, ready to start transforming raw data into analytic insight, and who desire to make a difference by leveraging the right techniques to arrive at the right answers. The Analyst, Data Science will strongly influence the business and marketing decisions of Client by supporting and helping to institutionalize a data-driven culture.

Your primary role will be to identify and work on high-impact business and marketing problems and develop viable solutions through data analysis, statistics, and advanced analytics techniques. The candidate should have a combination of excellent analytic skill, strong business acumen, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions

  • Identifies actionable insights, provides recommendations, and influences the direction of the business through analysis of large data sets
  • Operates large data volumes from various data sources such as AWS
  • Develops effective responses to requests for ad hoc analyses using standard and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., regression, clustering analysis, decision trees)
  • Leverages first party, third-party, and various other data sources data sources for data insights
  • Creates interactive dashboards, reports, charts, presentation and timelines using tools such as Tableau in support of department or business operations. Translates analytical findings into insights and business recommendations
  • Collaborates with team to implement projects, complete tasks, and fulfill plans to ensure timely and efficient analysis, modeling, evaluation, and reporting
  • Creates and manages plans for accomplishing detailed analytic activities with quick turnaround
  • Develops creative and innovative analytical problem solving approaches
  • Responds effectively to requests for ad-hoc analyses
  • Collaborates with other teams to develop and execute analytic outputs
  • Prepares written analysis findings and recommendations to key marketing leaders with direct impact on executive-level decisions

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum

  • Loves data
  • Excellent math and logical skills. Ability to identify trends, analyze data, and extract actionable insights
  • Self-starter, independently initiating and driving projects towards completion
  • Data analysis skills including working with large data sets using Python, SQL, and ETL
  • Analytic skills to be able to draw insightful conclusions from customer behavior metrics
  • Creativity to develop innovative analytical solutions
  • Experience in delivering high-quality analytic deliverables
  • Ability to organize, interpret, and disseminate information
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess an internal client service orientation and work collaboratively

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or marketing field, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or CIS
  • Understands the telecommunications industry or other subscription-based business
  • Familiar with Adobe Analytics
  • Familiar with Tealium
  • Familiar with SQL, Python/R, AWS
  • Familiar with scrum/agile methodologies
  • Familiar with best practices in data visualization to business solutions
  • Familiar with AWS, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, digital analytics
