We are looking for a
Senior Data Scientist to improve Customer Acquisition, Product Recommendations, Pricing and other high-impact use cases by applying mathematical optimization, machine learning, and generative AI.
Build state-of-the-art algorithms to help customers find their dream vacation. Enjoy working on many different use cases and with many different methods and technologies. Benefit from a fast-paced environment with high autonomy and direct communication with senior leaders.
What is the role about?
- Develop, improve, deploy, and maintain predictive data models such as live customer segmentation, customer no-show predictions, trip recommendations, profitability predictions and marketing optimizations.
- Extract information and new features from internal and external data sources to improve our models
- Own and analyze A/B tests for new features in our products
- Work as one team with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and business users
- The tools we use: Machine Learning: Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn) MLOps: AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda), Github, Cnvrg, and Docker Warehousing and ELT: Snowflake, dbt, SQL Causal Inference and Ad-Hoc Analysis: R, Python
What will you need to be successful?
- You have an academic degree (Masters or PhD) in an analytical subject (e.g. statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, data science, operations research, engineering or similar)
- You have at least 4 years of experience working as a Data Scientist in an industry setting, post graduation
- You have broad theoretical and practical knowledge of standard methods in Data Science, e.g. neural networks, decision trees, LLMs, causal inference, A/B testing, etc.
- You have experience working with generative AI, in particular LLMs (including outside of a production environment)
- Proficient in Python for Data Science with strong data engineering experience (SQL, dbt, CI/CD, Git)
- You have experience leading multi-quarter research work involving high uncertainty.
