The Team and Role’s mission
We’re currently looking for two
Senior Data Engineers to join a dynamic development team dedicated to delivering a key global big data platform responsible for producing big datasets for multiple clients.
This platform leverages cutting-edge technologies, primarily relying on Databricks and its latest functionalities like Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Terraform. You’ll also actively contribute to the platform's implementation and play a key role in shaping its future trajectory.

Key outcomes
- Be responsible for the delivery of tested, high-quality code.
- Adhere to coding standards and implementation of Kantar Technology standards.
- Build suitable automation test suites within Azure DevOps, as well as maintain and update them as often as required.
- Carry out manual testing, load testing and exploratory testing whenever needed.
- Work closely with BAS and Senior Data Engineers to consistently achieve sprint goals.
- Assist in the estimation of sprint-by-sprint stories and tasks.
- Proactively take a responsible approach to product delivery.
Key Capabilities
Your background will ideally look like this…
- University Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum Required).
- 4-5 years of proven experience in Data Engineering roles.
- Proven programming experience with Python as well as with PySpark, Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Professional experience with a Cloud Services platform (Azure/AWS/GCP) and infrastructure – preferably MS Azure.
- Comfortable working with ETL data pipelines with large volumes of continuous data.
- Experience working with a DevOps pipeline – preferably Azure DevOps.
- Experience working within Agile Methodologies (SCRUM/KANBAN Frameworks).

- Previous experience working in a support-oriented role will be appreciated.
- Knowledge/experience in AI ML techniques
