Key Responsibilites/Requirements

We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in data management, schematic architecture, data security, and data governance, and excels in collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate will possess all the skills needed to help build a complete data echo system from the ground up

What You'll Do

Work with the data engineering team to design, develop, and support high-quality data, analytics, and reporting solutions.

Building and maintaining robust data architectures

You will be designing and creating databases, tables, and queries based on the business needs

Ensuring data quality and integrity

Create, copy, clone tables from different DBMS into SQL Server

Experienced with SQL Server Virtual Machine concept and architecture

Responsible for maintaining production reliability, including performance, uptime, and recoverability

Conduct performance tuning as needed and become an expert on the scope of data that the entire Retail Operations team uses.

Support the data access and security

Familiar with integrating data views with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI

Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members to improve their technical skills and support their professional growth.

Keep abreast of industry trends and techniques in data engineering and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Champion continuous process improvement, performance management, and metrics-driven results.

Other relevant duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.

3+ years of relevant data management consulting or industry experience (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling, data standards)

Must possess expert level skills in the SQL Server architecture

Advanced Python skills Pandas, data wrangling, loading, etc.

Detailed understanding of data governance and data profiling concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Experience of cloud-based data platforms
