This is a great opportunity for someone who is proficient in the use of Python coding and/or other IT coding languages and wants to strengthen their skill set and increase their exposure to the active and sustainable mobility and transport community.
We offer a full-time, six-month internship paid approximately €970 per month. This is a professional internship agreement according to Belgian law, called

Beroepsinlevingsovereenkomst (NL).
*We also welcome applications from candidates who are university students looking for part-time employment to supplement their studies or other income.*
Candidates must be
eligible to work in the EU and able to live in Belgium during their employment. COVID-19 restrictions permitting, we will ask you to work at least two days per week from the ECF office. We are eager for a candidate to start
as soon as possible.
Please apply by submitting your CV and a short cover letter in English at our Join.com advertisement. Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
In your cover letter, please describe a specific experience in which you have used Python or another IT coding language to fulfill a task or project. Please be specific, but brief.
Hiring Process:
We will invite short-listed applicants that meet our criteria to a
two-part online interview with our Infrastructure Policy Officer and Director of Policy and Development.
- The first part will consist of a technical exercise of approximately one hour, approximately replicating a work experience a Data Analyst intern would do with ECF, which we will use to determine a candidate’s technical qualifications.
- The second part will consist of a traditional 30-minute interview to inquire further about a candidate’s experience and qualifications, and to determine whether a candidate is a good fit for ECF.
ECF will endeavour to select a qualified candidate as soon as possible. ECF will only respond to applications that it short-lists for interview.
ECF is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified candidates irrespective of racial or ethnic origin, opinions or beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, health or disabilities.
