About The Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless access to accurate and actionable insights for our analytical teams, including Data Science, Product Analytics, and Media Analytics. About The Team
You will be joining the Ads Data Science and Analytics team, a dynamic and cross-functional unit dedicated to uncovering valuable insights from our advertising data. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of our approach, as we work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand and address their unique business challenges. By fostering a culture of open communication and transparency, we foster an environment where diverse perspectives contribute to innovative solutions.
About The Job
- Develop and maintain efficient data aggregation processes, ensuring timely and accurate access to critical information for analytical teams.
- Define and manage metrics definitions, fostering a shared understanding of key performance indicators across the organization.
- Design and implement robust ETL pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation.
- Collaborate with the Ads Data Science team to explore and analyze advertising data, identifying opportunities for optimization and developing data-driven solutions.
- Continuously enhance data management processes, leveraging best practices and cutting-edge technologies to drive operational excellence.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or a similar programming language) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Knowledge of analytical, statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with advertising technology and platforms.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends.
