We are a dynamic and innovative team seeking a talented Data Analyst to join us. Our organization is at the forefront of utilizing cutting-edge technologies, with a focus on modern tools such as Power BI & AWS QuickSight. Position works on-site and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and data requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex datasets using AWS services.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into business performance and trends.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of business initiatives.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously improve data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and AWS services.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science required.
- Three (3) years of experience in data analytics or a related field required.
- Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Power BI as a data visualization tool.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools is a plus.
- AWS QuickSight & Tableau highly preferred.
- Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry, including NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse, BI reporting, and Dashboard development.
- Experience with AWS services such as Glue, Sagemaker, and EMR.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL; experience working with databases such as DynamoDB, Aurora, or PostgreSQL, and AWS S3 Lake Formation.
