Morgan McKinley is delighted to bring this exciting new opportunity to market. This is a permanent post in a growing Artificial Intelligence & Data Team, in a highly successful organisation.

This role will offer you the chance to work with a variety of clients and technologies in a challenging and exciting environment. This team designs and builds architectures, automates processes, creates interactive visualizations, identifies patterns, develops predictive models, and uses AI technologies to extract actionable insights from data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI solutions and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to integrate AI models into applications and systems.
  • Design and build machine learning pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Optimize AI models for scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on AI-related projects.
  • Manage and coach junior team members, providing both technical and non-technical guidance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience deploying data-driven and AI applications into production, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical and exploratory data analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropics, LLama, Gemini) including fine-tuning and prompt engineering practices.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
