Intro:
As a Data Analyst Associate, you will use Power BI and other emerging Microsoft Tools and Technologies to help our Azure Power Platform Team
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide guidance and best practices on the configuration and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Leverage Power BI to modernize existing reporting and data analytics
  • Develop Power BI models using a combination of data sources, which can be organized and filtered for use by our customers
  • Leverage Power Query to assist business users in formatting, ingesting, transforming, and enriching data
  • Develop best practices documentation
  • Utilize AI capabilities such as trend and impact analysis for predictive analytics
  • Provide technical assistance in the deployment and implementation of Power BI on mobile devices
  • Provide analysis of planning for data mapping and key performance indicators (KPI) from source data
  • Define requirements for development, test, and movement of Power BI solutions to production
Location and Travel Details:
This is a remote position.
Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements:
Active Public Trust or Clearable
Profile of Success:
  • At least three (3) years of experience building interactive dashboards and reports from enterprise data stores and 1 year minimum with Power BI
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience developing solutions within the entire lifecycle of Power BI including the planning and execution of architecture, design, configuration, deployment, and delivery of Power BI.
  • Extracting, Transforming, and Loading (ETL) of data from a variety of sources, being familiar with SQL DB, SharePoint/Teams, and Excel
  • Transforming data to meet situational requirements including creating calculated columns, measures, building table relationships
  • Familiarity with DAX and M code within Power BI
  • Experience building a variety of visualizations within Power BI
  • Building reports and dashboards based on available data and customer requirements
  • Publishing Reports, building Dashboards, creating Subscriptions, and managing Power BI Service functions
  • Experience with Power Automate and other Power Platform components
  • Experience leveraging Azure
  • Experience with Paginated reports
  • Understand the difference between Power BI licensing and Premium Capacity features
  • Ability to work as a team and be agile to adapt to a variety of data and requirements
