ManpowerGroup Ireland have an exciting new opportunity with our client SAP! This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility to extend to 12 months employed with ManpowerGroup Ireland. This position is a Hybrid role based in Dublin.

Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing large datasets to support business decision-making.

This role requires a strong command of Excel, including advanced skills in Power Query and Power Pivot, as well as experience with Microsoft Power BI for data visualisation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, develop reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organise, and analyse large datasets to support business objectives
  • Develop and maintain complex data models using Excel, Power Query, and Power Pivot
  • Create automated reports and dashboards using Power BI that provide actionable insights
  • Perform data validation and cleaning to ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Optimise existing data processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing timely and accurate analysis
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement corrective actions

Required Skills

  • Power Query: Expertise in using Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and automation.
  • Power Pivot: Advanced knowledge of Power Pivot for data modelling and performing complex calculations.
  • Power BI: Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
  • Data Cleaning: Strong knowledge of data cleaning techniques to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Data Visualisation: Experience creating meaningful visualisations (charts, graphs) to present data insights clearly.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to assess complex problems and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in working with data to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Understanding of Business Processes: Familiarity with how data impacts business operations, sales, marketing, and financial planning.

Education and Experience

  • 3rd Level Qualification - Degree in IT, finance or related discipline
  • Past experience in technology roles, banking, insurance or related roles
