Data Engineer with 3+ years of hands on experience to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank

Data Engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors (like Protegrity) to design, configure, and implement these services across development, testing, and production environments.
- Leverage Agile methodologies to create robust environments, conduct thorough testing and debugging, and document processes for seamless service implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Integrate certified data protection solutions (DELP or TDaaS) for our clients.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues alongside Application Operations partners.
How Youll Thrive:
- 3+ years of hands-on IT experience are essential.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and Linux operating systems, including shell scripting expertise.
- Experience with DevOps principles like deployment automation (Github/Git Actions), CI/CD pipelines, build tools (Maven, Jenkins), and repository management (Artifactory) is a plus.
- A solid understanding of load balancers, directory services (LDAP/Active Directory), authentication/authorization protocols (SSO), digital certificates, and security best practices is crucial.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, ServiceNow, or Databricks is a welcome bonus.
