Within the Data and Customer Experience team at Blue Water Shipping, we meet this demand and spearhead the digital transformation of logistics. As a Data Analyst on our team, you will collaborate closely with the Business and Process Excellence teams to ensure that data from internal processes provides tangible value to BWS customers through our customer portals. Your role will be crucial in setting the bar for data quality in our digital products and driving data-driven excellence within an agile organization.

Enhancing customer value through data excellence

Our team is pivotal in crafting scalable, robust solutions that enhance our enterprise through data accessibility and quality. Key projects include:

• Ensuring dataflows from internal processes to customer insights, directly impacting customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with the Business experts and Process Excellence teams to ensure seamless data integration and utilization across systems.
• Implementing data quality standards that elevate the accuracy and reliability of information available on customer portals.
• Creating validation processes together with the business to increase and improve our customers insights.
  
  

As a Data Analyst, you will delve into datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, ensuring our data solutions align with the highest industry standards. Whether you are developing new analytical models, refining existing processes, or presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders, your work will directly influence our success.

As a Data Analyst you will play a crucial role in adopting data analysis standards and contributing with fresh perspectives. You are structured and continuously looking to improve data quality. We seek someone who embodies the following qualities:

• Proficient in Python, R or SQL for data analysis and visualization.
• Familiar with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Knowledgeable about data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Enjoys crafting insightful, elegant solutions that adhere to industry best practices.
• Thrives in a technology-driven environment and adapts seamlessly to change.
